Collection and processing of personal data

In most cases, when visiting our websites, our web server logs the address of your internet service provider (IP or URL), the name of the website, from where you are connecting to us, the date and time of your visit. Additional personal data (your name, address, phone number or e-mail address) is only required if you contact us directly or register for a newsletter or a closed user group. The data which are collected via the different input masks can be found through the mandatory input fields. All other data can be given voluntarily.

We will ensure your privacy and we will not disclose or sell your personal data to third parties, outside Deutsche Börse Group. This privacy policy refers to all your personal data regardless of whether they are collected automatically or with your prior consent. We only use your data for internal statistical purposes, to answer an inquiry or to provide a requested service.

We will not disclose your personal data to governmental authorities except in cases where it is required by the applicable laws, e.g. German Stock Exchange Act (Börsengesetz) or German Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz).

Use, disclosure of personal data and processing of additional data

This website uses etracker technology (www.etracker.com) to collect data on visitor behavior. The data is collected anonymously for use in marketing and optimisation. All visitor data is saved using an anonymous user ID and can be used to aggregate a usage profile. Cookies may be used for this purpose. Cookies are small text files that are stored in the visitor’s local browser cache. It is possible to use these cookies to recognise a visitor’s browser. The data collected by the etracker technology will not be used to determine the personal identity of a website visitor, and will not be compiled with personal data relating to the person referred to by the pseudonym, unless agreed to separately by the person concerned. Upon written request we, Deutsche Börse Group, will inform you by letter if and what personal data we store as defined by the effective law. If such data is incorrect despite our effort to keep data correct and up to date, we will correct that information at your request.
